#100TPC – Something more than just [poetry] conference

Well, 10 days since I returned from the first world conference organized by the global movement 100 Thousand Poets for Change and as the days are passing by more and more memories of beautiful moments from there are crossing trough my mind.

amazing

Italy. It is always good to visit Italy. Although I have been several times, and the reason has always been art and Italy as one of the oldest civilizations in Europe shows that it can constantly be Medina of culture, and in this case a great country hosting the first world conference of the global movement “100 Thousand Poets for a change.” This case was special, not just because it is summer and not only because in summer the sea is beautiful. This time the cause of this trip was to be a special participation in the conference which certainly change my life. You may ask yourself how? In many ways, of course.

conference

First of all because the conference was an event that was organized for the very first time and I had the opportunity to meet many of the organizers around the world who create their own movement, its own events in their own countries and cities, which are part of the mission and the main purpose, aim of this unification and world poetry networking. This space would be small to share with you all the impressions of the trip, but it is important to emphasize that this movement and the people that are involved in it have demonstrated continuity of the mission and demonstrated his enduring goal: awakening of civilization for all separate problems coming from certain parts of the Earth. It is a wonderful feeling to meet poets, writers, artists and activists from many parts of the planet, the range is colorful, great respect for the representatives from Ghana, Nigeria, Mexico, India, Egypt, Australia, many parts of America, Europe, Africa and Asia but also a great sadness to learn about those who could not be present, could not attend because of their visa problems – a topic that was one of the most important of the conference, ie the right for free movement for all the people in the world.

wow

Being part of an event where you totally recognized your function and somehow you show your place in the society circle is “in small hand” (at least) creative and inspiring, but as well motivating, because I had the opportunity to speak about the problems that are facing our country and being heard from many who empathized and have the power of thought to stepping forward and face their environment with problems that are not (in) away from them. Talks with like-minded people are always welcome, and this time I had the opportunity to hear the problems of the others, at the same time to help in solving them with my opinion, similar experience or knowledge.

Roundtables, debates, screenings, performances, poetry readings, learning about the environment, visits to major (historical) places, tours, the whole plethora of activities have made this conference important for each participant and representative of their local activities related to the main mission of this movement.

11412158_10152862280936615_6342000450113045817_n

It is unique ability and desire to enter the core of the most important problems we are facing, that hurt us, to reach deeper to the basics of problem solving, to locate the essential tools and techniques that can solve some scars that we make as civilization, yes, to touch the heart of another, to recognize a friend, to store the new, valuable friendship and to seed hope that this is just the beginning. That’s what this movement has provided and for which we all care.

So much love, so much understanding, coexistence, mutual laughter, joy, singing, dancing, glee, celebrating poetry and word – so much beauty in one place. Salerno – warm piece on Earth with excellent hosts and organizers, with outstanding people and friends.

I wish this lasts longer, or to be able to bear more books at home, to be able to hear much more of the poetry that was read. I’d love to have more time to dedicate to everyone individually, to spend more time with everyone so I could meet with everyone personally, but for sure we create a bridge of friendship, we plant joy and we grow love.

yes

The voice of the poet may be suppressed by the roar of the crowd, but there is also the unique opportunity to be a force that will flood the crowd with truth. The truth that comes with the lyrics will never be in crisis, poetry always finds the right readers, while using the reflection of the poet’s life we grab the opportunity to recognize the whole big picture, the one that anyone can see as mirror of the (inner) world. “Prose expresses what (how) it is; and poetry what (how) should it be.” The poet perhaps have no force to solve the problems that plague the world, but for sure can write the road-map to address them!

Till the next time friends, it was a great pleasure to be part of this conference! ❤

#blogging – [spiritual] thing we do before new year?!

.are u a blogger? do u blog often? when was d first time when u hear about blog? even that I can say that is more then decade, I will just try to make d frame of my 10 years experience in blogging. u know it’s not easy to be constant, to be interesting, to be with d right content in d right time? I’ve never been so into it, but u know, years are passing…

bear

I look in this blog and I see that this year was totally out for my blogging “in English”. I open this blog few years ago because I was thinking that I’ll have much more free time, and I’ll just share what I think is new and attractive, what can be viral and popular. I hit d button once when I wrote article about woodkid. I know that this music is great and that he will be popular very soon. that’s like it was!

I didn’t wrote article about zaz, but when I saw her in Paris 4 years ago somehow I had that feeling when u are aware that there is star in front of u. I try(ed) to share earlier here things that are important for me, d way of living, d way of believing, d way of acting…

k1

are u active citizen? are u part of ur civil community? are u pushing for changes in ur area, in ur home place or wherever u are? hard times are coming, nobody cares about nobody, capitalism, consumerism, corruption. on d other side poverty, violence, minorities.. what are we doing actually? we are blogging about that? really?! so awesome! c’mon people, it’s 21 century and all we are sharing on d social media is what we eat, where we’re having fun, what is our favorite pet, plus 10 cats & 10 dogs for free, because they look cute, yea.

.I must share this old story with u, somehow I think that is really necessary to repeat d things that we know and we count them as important for ur life:

An old man and his grandson are sitting by the fire outside the tepee, wrapped in furs and gazing into the leaping flames. High on a snowy ridge, a wolf howls at the moon and another answers from far away. Soon after, the old man removes the pipe from his mouth.
‘Grandson,’ he says. ‘There are two wolves inside you. One is white and the other is black.’
‘What are they doing there, Grandfather?’ asks the wide-eyed boy.
‘They are fighting each other,’ says the old man.
The boy considers this, then asks, ‘Why are they white and black?’
‘The white one is your love, your peace and your truth. The black one is your fear, your anger and your lies.’
The fire crackles and sparks flare in the night. The wolf on the ridge howls again and the old man puffs contentedly on his pipe.
Finally, the boy says, ‘Which one will win, Grandfather?’
‘Ah,’ says the old man, removing the pipe once more. ‘The one that wins is the one that you feed.’

:being person that will show some new perspective to d circle of people that are close to u is harder then ever. nobody listen, nobody cares, I write this not because someone will read it, I write this just because now I’m alone and I think it’s time for me “again” to face d situation and “try” to accept it as it is. for me ignorance and acceptance are not d real answer, I can swallow whatever d media have to offer to me, but I don’t trust, I don’t trust my neighbors, I don’t trust my cousins, my government… why should I? we have to push harder if we want to see anything from that what we’re dreaming about when we were kids. we have d power to control how we’re vibrating, positively or negatively. therefore, the ability to bring whatever we want to our life is our right, if we are aware about that. we have d power to create our own wonderful reality, with faith that d universe is on our side – but for that we need to be more active. and when I mean more active I think about offline activism, when we are doing d things that we know about. when we meet people that we are sure they know what we are talking about. d new era brings new challenges. everyone that stops on our road is important. we listen and we don’t speak a lot, but we select what we say loud. it’s message, either for us, either for d listener.

:what if u could find
d nature of reality in a work of fiction?

.we no longer have to be a passive spectators or victims of uncontrollable circumstances around us. we no longer have to reactively live a life of randomness and worry. we no longer have to hope or wonder if everything is going to turn out okay, instead, we can develop into an active creators — an inventors of thoughts, feelings and positive energy that will elevate our state of being. we need to have faith that, whatever our face experiences, we’re gaining wisdom and d tools are bringing us closer and closer to our goals.

.are u a #leader? do u want to be one? what do u know about leaders. are u d change that u want to see in d world? what are u doing? what is ur work? do u trust urself? do u believe to urself? are u sure that u’re doing d right steps? where u see urself in (close) future? is it correct place for u? what is ur mission? are u happy? do u know what is love? eternal existence of ur soul? are u transcendental?

keep d struggle, answer those questions every time when they come inside ur mind, be d bird, no, be d person that will release ur bird from d cage.

new year is coming, d bells will bring d new beginning very soon. till next time – stay blessed friends!

:peace, love, unity, bliss and light! ❤

Last night remarkable story happened to me, unpredictable, so that’s d reason why I’m here after a while. So, here’s d storY:

I write a project that we need to apply today and while I prepare d documents I open d link from our partners from Spain. Our Bulgarian partner sent me d link. We are project partners in this project with my organization KONTEXT. But d story will not be for d project but for something else that I find enormously GREAT, something that inspire me a lot.

* * *

iniAnd I press d link for Isla CreActiva, Sociocultural Association from Spain and after a while I recognize part of one poster design that I made few years ago. It is part of their home/ front page and surprised me a lot.

I almost forgot about this poster. Actually I designed it as a part of d celebration of d VOLUNTEER DAY and I wrote a post about. It’s great when u create something and u post it on ur blog and few years after u see ur art piece as part of some community, group, web page, portal, association. The name of d post that I wrote in that time is :International Volunteer Day & voila participation, and is actually December 5th, 2011.

When I opened d site for first time I did not notice, I began to use their categories, history, their actions, what kind of projects have done, but even then I recognized the font of the letters which I had chosen. Piece of d poster poster d organization is using as a header which publicize  and promote d European program Youth in Action.

volunteer

I am grateful to this whole situation, to my emotions, to d coincidence in d universe. To find someone by accident with someone that u do not know at all, to be a partner organization with someone from Spain who previously share something from u and is dialing a partnership with you in some way even though unconsciously, along the line of the same sensibility, creativity and message. I say coincidence but I am not sure, maybe is not only coincidence, maybe is about real connections, cosmic ones. who knows?! anyway d whole situation is magical, motivational, really incentive.

Hopefully this project that we will apply now will go well and we meet in future and I tell them d story in real time. For sure they will be surprised. 🙂

Thanks Emi (BYF) for d link! This is d poster ~ 🙂

I know that this is my first post for this year so I want to say in d begining to all of u who’re actually subscribed somehow to my news feeds HAPPY NEW YEAR & all d best in this one.

Few days ago it was old new year, traditionally we’re celebrating it with making fires etc & aside all this story I want to keep here something that I pretty much like it.

Lechuga

lechuga

When you want to encourage someone not to give up, you tell that person: “Lechuga” which is the short pronunciation of “never give up” in Spanish.

This is truly meaningful and gorgeous.

So in that manner I want to wish for all of u motivation, inspiration and good will to never give up from ur ideas, fantasies and imagination!

Maybe u are part of d people that are expecting something big to happen or something that will make some total shift of d common perspective that we have now, someone are thinking that is regular cosmical overlapping, spiritual change that is happening on some other level, more known for d spiritual seekers.

w2

Anyway, it’s still a date that should be remembered, for some is d day when the first teeth appear for their baby, for some is regular birthday, for some is new life.. maybe first, maybe some of d lines. It was last day in material body for our great music virtuous Ravi Shankar.

w312. 12. 12 will be remembered in good and bad as every typical day of d year, except for those who’ll decide to make change. To make d first move, to make d first step, to do d shift, to be d difference. There are thousands of groups out there that are organizing group meditation, bringing together d idea for better tomorrow and brighter future. 12.12.12 is the last of the repeating dates in this century, what will be the astrological influence of the date or what will happen to children born on that day we can just pretend that we know, d only thing that I’m sure we all feel: there is some change!

World is discussing the significance of 21/12/12 as signaling the end of the world, The Apocalypse or Judgment Day. The true meaning of apocalypse is “unveiling of hidden secrets”, not a catastrophic end of the world.

w1The numbers 12/12/12 which adds to the magical number 9 symbolizes spiritual growth, rebirth, progress and prosperity. Apart from the various schools of thoughts about the Mayan calendar ending on 21/12/2012, healers, energy workers, light workers (those who work on the Aura) are slowly coming together geographically and telepathically to channelize and project energy globally with the intention to cleanse and protect the universe from negative energies. At a global scale it symbolizes the end of the world as we know it (extremely high rate of natural calamities, crime, etc) and the beginning of a New Age. As per the Hindu belief, we are in the Kalyug, an age which is identified with all that is bad. Even astrologically, the number 9 is extremely significant. The nine Goddesses, nine planets in a horoscope all symbolize the significance of this magical number. So, the New Age or Navyug would symbolize new beginnings at a spiritual, financial, social and personal scale.

w4

You can join d project “One day on earth” that aims to collect movies from all world that will present what are they doin’ or where do they come from? What they have to share, to inspire …

So, one more time, just for all of us to remember is that 12. 12. 12 is d last major numerical date using the Gregorian or Christian calendar for almost another century. The next time three numbers will align as they did on 9-9-09, 10-10-10 and 11-11-11 will be on Jan. 1, 3001, or 1-1-1.

Three hundred couples were married in a mass wedding in the Philippines, thousand are meditating, someone are smiling and trying to bring joy and happiness in their daily life, maybe this is d change that we are talking about, most of d time people expect huge, megalomaniac stuff to be on d news so they will all be able to figure out that something’s going on. Yes, it’s a miracle! ❤

YOU, maybe want to join d master shift?

:Mahalaya and Durga Puja

Durga Puja

Image

Durga Puja, conventionally, in the ancient times, was held during spring. Known as Basanti Puja today, it has lost much of its glamour and gaiety to the autumnal Durga Puja, known since the time of Ramayana as Akal Bodhan, an untimely invocation of Goddes Durga, Durgatinashini.

ImageIt is celebrated every year in the Hindu month of Ashwin (September-October) and commemorates Rama’s invocation of the goddess before going to war with the demon king Ravana. Lord Rama invoked the Goddess to seek blessings from Mahisasurmardini, the slayer of the buffalo-demon, and worshipped the deity with his offering of 108 blue lotuses and lighting of 108 lamps.

Mahalaya marks the day of Devi Durga’s descent to the earth. It is the first day of the ten-day long festivities of fast, feast and worship that ends on the tenth day, called Vijaya Dashami, when the Goddess is bid adieu and the idol immersed in the river. This period, of fifteen days, continuing till Lakshmi Puja, the Goddess of Wealth being worshipped on the Full Moon day, is known as Devi Paksha.Mahalaya falls on Amavasya, the autumnal New Moon day, the last day of Pitru Paksha, the fortnight of the departed souls of the ancestors. According to Hindu mythology, the souls of three preceding generations of one’s ancestor reside in Pitru–loka, a realm between heaven and earth. This realm is governed by Yama, the god of death, who takes the soul of a dying man from earth to Pitru–loka. When a person of the next generation dies, the first generation shifts to heaven and unites with God, so Shraddha offerings are not given. Thus, only the three generations in Pitru–loka are given Shraddha rites, in which Yama plays a significant role. According to the sacred Hindu scriptures, at the beginning of Pitru Paksha, the sun enters the zodiac sign of Virgo (Kanya). Coinciding with this moment, it is believed that the spirits leave Pitru–loka and reside in their descendants’ homes for a month until the sun enters the next zodiac—Scorpio (Vrichchhika)—and there is a full moon. Hindus are expected to propitiate the ancestors in the first half, during the dark fortnight.

ImageWhen the legendary donor Karna died in the epic Mahabharata war, his soul transcended to heaven, where he was offered gold and jewels as food. However, Karna needed real food to eat and asked Indra, the lord of heaven, the reason for serving gold as food. Indra told Karna that he had donated gold all his life, but had never donated food to his ancestors in Shraddha. Karna said that since he was unaware of his ancestors, he never donated anything in their memory. To make amends, Karna was permitted to return to earth for a 15–day period, so that he could perform Shraddha and donate food and water in their memory. This period is now known as Pitru Paksha. In some legends, Yama replaces Indra.

Pitru Paksha is considered by Hindus to be inauspicious, given the death rites performed during the ceremony, known as Shraddha or tarpan. In southern and western India, it falls in the Hindu lunar month of Bhadrapada (September–October), beginning with the full moon day (Purnima) that occurs immediately after the Ganesh festival and ending with the new moon day known as Sarvapitri amavasya, Mahalaya amavasya or simply Mahalaya. In North India and Nepal, this period corresponds to the dark fortnight of the month Ashwin, instead of Bhadrapada.
