This is UNBELIEVABLE! They look and dance like real life angels. Very nice, beautiful!! Very very extraordinary …. Nice dancing, I love the whole idea! so creative. Amazing mix, combination of dance, music, electronic technology, then guides u trough spiritual experience, almost surreal and dreamy like perfect hologram of our imagination.

The V motion project has succeeded in musical madness, where the music dances to your movements rather than the other way around. “Can’t Help Myself” is the result of The V motion challenge’s ambitious task of developing and producing a music track using only the movement of a dancers body. After months of slaving behind some of the most complex audio gadgetry ever seen, artists and technicians alike have collaborated to produce a truly unique multimedia musical experience.

The Motion Project was a collaboration between a lot of clever creative people working together to create a machine that turns motion into music. The client for the project, Frucor (makers of V energy drink), together with their agency Colenso BBDO, kitted-out a warehouse space for this project to grow in and gathered together a group of talented people from a number of creative fields.

Have u think about d future of dj-ing, maybe? As I have some experience in playing some electro, psy music I was really imagining  (since I was kid) that this can maybe be our future, not only in d music but d in d whole communication with d modern (smart) technology. Our body for sure can be used in d new methods, this is only one of d ways how, imagine if we start using our brain only! 😀

Here’s the official music video for “Can’t Help Myself” shot on the streets of Auckland, New Zealand when The V Motion Project team created music through movement. Using movement to create music… What an amazing and inspirational idea! *technorgasm*

“We created and designed the live visual spectacle with a music video being produced from the results. We wanted it to be clear that the technology was real and actually being played live. The interface plays a key role in illustrating the idea of the instrument and we designed it to highlight the audio being controlled by the dancer. Design elements like real time tracking and samples being drawn on as they are played all add to authenticity of the performance. The visuals are all created live and the music video is essentially a real document of the night.”

:this photography is out of d story in d video, but I like this duality that presents, it’s like d duality of d books, when u see her cover u dont recognize nothing, but when u open it, u start splitting also. .. u both read in same time, d book u & invert 🙂

.

This is very inspiring video for all d book lovers, readers, publishers, book shop owners etc. it’s just unique and first from this type I see on net. Stop motion, lots of work but magical result. All of d books that are rearranged just speaks for d love that those people share with d books.

Have u seen video like this before, with Tim’s Barton character in d beginning and all those lovely colors changing d place. Will not write more about it, it’s just to short video to write more about, but I think that they should promote this video in d schools just to show to d kids, that d books are alive and they hide wonderful stories/ universes inside, and that only trough d book we can experienced something that nothing else can offer to Us.

.

:from d youtube channel:

:”After organizing our bookshelf almost a year ago (http://youtu.be/zhRT-PM7vpA), my wife and I decided to take it to the next level. We spent many sleepless nights moving, stacking, and animating books at Type bookstore in Toronto. Everything you see here can be purchased at Type Books. Grayson Matthews generously composed the beautiful, custom music. But none of it could have been done without all the volunteer hands who shelved and reshelved books all night, every night. “:

:I don’t know why but I find this dance very special, metamorphose between d old traditional singing, rhythm and d dynamic of d contemporary dance, clothes, act. .. communication via body language. the symbioses flies in d space with d voices, with d composition so oriental but  transferred/ presented so modern. Flashes, pictures that illustrated specific times, and audience that absorbs all of this like travelers on train station.

the light give a bit theatrical, chamber vibe to this whole performance, and d dynamic between d scenes, also as d whole scenario were amazing. Perfect combination of music, silence, whispers, singing, physical theater, opera etc..

is this d east trying to send positive signal from d center of d culture in Europe, Paris? – for me, in this message there was so much love, deep understanding & dialog that was typical exotic as d eastern culture itself. Playful, enjoyable, positive, hope u’ll enjoy it as I do!

I like one of d comments under d video:

Fabulous!! It brings back rea;ameoried of my many years In Iran researching their fasdcinating ceremonies and dances of mystic, tribal, courtly and urban origin.

Wonderul artists with depth of expression and technique and a great contrast with the two exceptional singer/dancers.
