CREATIVITY starts from a BELIEF,

SUCCESS comes from an ACTION.

THINK like when you are still a kid …

NEVER GIVE UP …

Tomorrow will always be better

It’s probably blog day for me since I update few of them that I have, but d main reason why I decide to post here on this blog is that this thing that I’ll share here is connect with my work and with d reasons why I become active youngster and youth worker nowadays.

This is inspirational video that was shared in my fb stream from one of d NGO leaders in Macedonia, friend of mine, best promoter of our country, Aleksandar Bogatinov. We need to have sense of responsibility in this system, in d society we live, this is d way how to follow our ‘dreams’. Society needs leaders that will improve the community, what you put in will come back to you. We need to make positive changes in this society, this is the method how to learn this things.

Faith without action is dead!

Be what you are. This is the first step toward becoming better than you are.

.Ok, I know is bit romantic but u know when u’re not coupled then u search for d universal love especially when ur stream is spammed with love messages, cards, pics, music etc. I found this video interesting because it’s speak in one naive, gentle way. there is person that fits us perfectly, even if he is not  here in d moment or he’s here but still not aware of ur presence and intense feelings. enjoy ur day people who love and are loved, cheers with red wine from one warm house.

Kien Lam made Show Your Love, a special Valentine’s Day video that shows that love is a universal message. You may remember his around-the-world time-lapse film, Time is Nothing, that we featured recently.

Love is universal. It is blind. It transcends language. How will you show your love on Valentine’s Day?

:I like this piece of art, short video. .. in d last few hours I watched maybe more then 10 times and I think it deserves to be here as part of my blog. Dark, mystic, slow motion, experimental . .. only d first impressions after u watch it.

Compiled over the past year, the duo’s film work traverses the wilds of April Base, the Wisconsin studio of Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon. Trundling through rich forest landscapes and ephemeral, sculptural environments, the films’ pure visual moments mesh with graceful digital effects, creating entangled shrines and smoke-filled twilights. At its root, the work deals with themes of space–both external and psychological.

Skateboarding means liberty!

The Americans have cultured and support the Talibans in fight against the Soviet Union.

The Taliban are an American product.

So the Americans are fighting for “freedom” against their former supported group. The victims are the children and the Afghanistan people.

The American republicans are not liberators, they are warlords, who pretend to fight for democracy.

SUPPORT Skateistan, become a member!

Power the kids and to the People!

SKATEISTAN: To live and skate in Kabul

.

.

Well, now I know but before I see this doc I didn’t have any idea. What is all about. We know what is attractive for d film festivals around? Stories from this kind, ok maybe not this script but d environment, d way of living, tradition, culture. What is d spot that connect Us with this society. What does it mean urban living there?
First I saw d picture and I stop for a moment, why, how, where, is it fake one? Thousands of questions in my mind, then one opportunity, press d link!

“In a country with innumerable problems, Skateistan represents an oasis where children can be children and build the kinds of cross-cultural relationships that Afghanistan needs for future stability. Programmer’s Note: Former professional snowboarder Orlando von Einsiedel found that the Skateistan project combined two worlds he felt very passionate about: extreme sports and social work. The Skateistan project—started by two Australian aid workers who began giving skating as well as educational lessons to more than 350 kids in Kabul, Afghanistan—equips young men and women with the skills to lead their communities toward social change and development and piqued von Einsiedel’s interest enough to make him want to capture it with a camera. Flying directly from Frankfurt to Kabul, von Einsiedel and crew sought to create a more optimistic image of Afghanistan. What resulted is a beautifully composed film that turns a spotlight on neither the battles nor the victims in this war-torn country, but rather on the hopeful spirit and culture of change that the youth of Kabul are yearning to put into action. We’re thrilled to welcome von Einsiedel’s film to this year’s Festival and urge you to check out skateistan.org on your next Internet stop.”

:I have experience in watching documentary movies since I am part of d team of d International Film Festival [AsterFest], and stories with background as this are not stressful at all for me. But from other side this story here is just reflection of d life out there at some place pretty different from d picture that we are used to see on d screen.
Ruined villages, cities, asphalt full of holes, dead animals on the streets. This is only a small part of d everyday life of this young people in this place. Stinks, unemployed pips, street vendors, big poverty, gaps in education, system error, WAR. They have too many problems and few desires.

The film talks about a group of youngsters who have the same desire. the West Urbanity associate u to? – Skaters. the skate as a tool for making peace, as soon as they shooting stops all young skaters are out there matching d square and showing that this time d war is over. .. for a couple of hours.
Youth with a great desire to learn drivin’ this boards, to do tricks, make downhill or use d new ramps . .. like those on d television. The film documents a project that supports the educational process, training, their first attempts.

I have seen a lot of movies with d same topic, our region is pretty knows in d World as war place too. We had wars in Yugoslavia, after that few more. .. and if u attend film festivals for #docs in d Balkans u’ll be able to watch hundreds of sad stories for d life her. murders, destroyed families, lost partners, kids etc. I like d positive side of this documentary. .. it’s really time to stop this Wars and give those kids chance to live. Life is important for every human being, let they dream awaken!

:I just saw this simple, naive animation that covers d lyrics  that d famous Bukowski wrote and name them as blue bird. follow d poem and d animation, I really like how they make this video.  slowly, not so perfect.. but still, fair enough good to spent this 2 minutes here and enjoy. trashy paper style, easy illustration, stop motion play and d words that even if u don’t read them, somehow u recognize them.

First I share with u d poem written by Charles Bukowski then d video, enjoy. .. happy Saturday ~

.

There’s a bluebird in my heart

there’s a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I’m too tough for him,
I say, stay in there, I’m not going
to let anybody see
you.
there’s a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I pour whiskey on him and inhale
cigarette smoke
and the whores and the bartenders
and the grocery clerks
never know that
he’s
in there.

there’s a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I’m too tough for him,
I say,
stay down, do you want to mess
me up?
you want to screw up the
works?
you want to blow my book sales in
Europe?
there’s a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I’m too clever, I only let him out
at night sometimes
when everybody’s asleep.
I say, I know that you’re there,
so don’t be
sad.
then I put him back,
but he’s singing a little
in there, I haven’t quite let him
die
and we sleep together like
that
with our
secret pact
and it’s nice enough to
make a man
weep, but I don’t
weep, do
you?

“Film as dream, film as music. No art passes our conscience in the way film does, and goes directly to our feelings, deep down into the dark rooms of our souls.” – Ingmar Bergman

Cinema! Can you imagine your life without movies? In March, 1895 the brothers Lumiere presented Cinematograph – a new device for showing films and got a patent for it. But the first open display happened on December 28 of the same year and this date is considered as the birthday of the cinema. This remarkable event was held in the Parisian cafe in Parkway Kaputsinov, where Lumieres presented the first short-footage movie “Arrival of a train on station La Sota” to the general public (not for free, it was the first film shown to people for money). This performance caused panic – spectators were frightened, that a train will crush them. The entrance fee to the historic film screening was 1 franc. 35 tickets were reportedly purchased. Each film was 17 meters long, which, when hand cranked through a projector, ran approximately 50 seconds. From that moment, regular film screenings began, accompanied by a piano or a saxophone. The motion pictures were sometimes also accompanied by text below the images. Modern technologies increased the quality of the films and different effects much.

“This is the best thing we can do. And we are proud of it”, said the Lumiиre brothers of their invention.

.
.sometimes we just need to celebrate d things from d past how we’ll open space for new celebrations.. for new project, movies, festivals. In Macedonia d cinema history start with Manaki Brothers, primary artist that start d experience with photography in that time, but beside the work in their photo-studio and shooting with their photo and film Camera 300, the Manaki brothers were also showing films. The first film in their new Cinema “Manaki” under open sky in “Wide Street” was held in 1921. The “Cinema Garden” was a temporary solution that did not satisfy the brothers. They later built a Cinema House and the first projection there, was on the first of December 1923. The Cinema worked with variable success. It changed owners, but in 1939 burnt to ashes…
.
On December 28, 1885, the Lumière brothers, Auguste and Louis, presented their ten short documentaries/actualities, less than a minute long each, for the public consideration for the first time. Since then much has changed. Cinema stopped being silent. Filmmakers started creating colored pictures. Actors became recognizable and admired. Nickelodeons transformed into picture palaces.
In 1985, the audience paid for such kind of entertainment for the very first time. In 1927, the world saw (and listened to) the first talkie ‘The Jazz Singer’ by Michael Curtiz. The same year the first Academy Awards honored ‘Wings’ with the title of the Best Picture. In 1928, Walt Disney created Mickey Mouse. Concerning the Oscars, 1935 was marked by Frank Capra’s ‘It Happened One Night’ being first to win the grand slam. In 1975, Steven Spielberg directed the so-called first blockbuster ‘Jaws’. In 1995, Pixar and Walt Disney Pictures made the first completely computer-generated full-length feature film ‘Toy Story’. In 2009, Jim Cameron gave us a ticket to wonderful Pandora in incredible quality 3D, and Kathryn Bigelow proved that women can also be great directors.
So many dates and turning points are omitted here, but what is more important is what cinema has done for us: it influenced and inspired us, it brought us together, it made us think. Although many people believe it’s just an industry to mop up money, the silver screen remains one of the most beautiful, versatile and unbelievable arts.
.
.I know that you share my passion for it, that’s why ~
:Happy International Day of Cinema!

Monster.S for soliDAR*ity

For the exhibition that took place in the Maison de la famillies in Metz I decide to create art piece that will be mix of the three techniques/ workshops that were actually part of the youth exchange connect with contemporary art called Voice of Art.

Voice of Art was a youth exchange organized by the association Together, on my blog for my stay in France you can find other articles connected with it. In this exchange participants from 6 countries were able to learn more about contemporary art and also to create part of their ideas participating in three workshops: street art, art installations and multimedia.

The street art workshop was leaded by me and can find more about here. The other two workshops were leaded by Bruno de Sario, Italy [art installation] and  Agnieszka Piatczak, Poland and Ramses The lonelywarrior, France [multimedia].

I have some expirience with video/ multi media and installations from before and I felt perfect opportunity to try to play with this three forms and create mixed media work that will be connect and will express the way how I accept and understand the topic of this excange ‘solidarity’

The last period I use my facebook status to write some shorts about monsters and monster mood and somehow I find connection between the monster.s and solidarity. I try to show the main feelings that I have when I think about solidarity. I made monster[s] that [are] push[ing] for solidarity.

Monster.S for Solidarity

In the painted form I played with graff, stickers and expressionistic techniques. The stickers that I made before I apply in the wooden board same as sometimes I put them on the walls around the places where I travel.. ..

In the installation I try to use as less as possible, because one of the aim in my works is to show that a lot of things can be created from low budget materials, most of them organic and easy for recycling. This ecoLogic.al way of creating art in my eyes is the future of the contemporary design, art & living.

In the short conceptual and bit experimental video I give a soul to the monster that I already have it in 2 forms..that comes to my concept like finishing the circle of 2D, 3D with bringing the monster in moving and giving him life. I create monster with feelings..

The combination of this 3 forms bring my idea and concept in final result in which the message is clean..if u understand it good if not again good 🙂
